of windswept workings

Look what happened to 'Watch Me FLY!' overnight....

I added the hill landscape yesterday before I posted here.... the windswept trees and house emerged last night whilst watching TV with Hubble...  the trees are cut and raw edge appliqued from sari silk and the house is cut from the same red silk and white cotton that the centre woven panel is made of.

I have some onion skin dye on the stove...!

Perfect play of the happy soaring heart over dreary landscape with a tiny hopeful home. Love it.

A house on a hill...
Love it! The sky is perfect.
I like the way you stitched the words.

I love the contrast of the moody gray sky and cliff with the vibrant life-blood red roof!

Hi Sandi,

I just found this! It's fabulous! I love the palette. Has such a sense of drama to it.
